 "Duty Freedom" has been released in China today! It is party time!!

Yeah, Kärtsy is going to China!

Kärtsy and the Band will have this time a very exotic trip coming up: they are going to China!

His album “Duty Freedom” was released in China too and they wanted him and the band to come and check out China’s biggest festival MIDI. Since guys travels so far, it makes no sense  to play only one show.

The guys will play also one another show in Shanghai, two in Guangzhou and even one in Hong Kong. Kärtsy will fly back straight from Hong Kong to Helsinki and starts some studio work with his other project Waltari.

So unfortunately he has no time for a holiday in Far East, but maybe it’s obvious since we are talking about this workaholic guy called Kärtsy :)

Kärtsy is voting for the 10 best newcomer Fin band in band competition called Ääni Ja Vimma in Kontula Youth House Helsinki. His evening will continue with the solo gig in Lohja, 50 kilometres from Helsinki. Busy guy this Kärtsy!

Kärtsy will have a few days 24/7 session in internet in September!! Probably the first ever any rock artist will show his life alive in internet for 24 hours a day! The program is called Kärtsy TV and will be shown in his new facebook pages http://www.facebook.com/kartsytv in almost every minute, possibly apart from full sleeping only.Kärtsy TV will happen from 15th till 18th September in Helsinki, and is free for everybody to watch. Apart some programmed schedule Kärtsy TV is also YOUR channel! The general mood in the program is very spontanious, and undergroundish. Since last week one has been able to hear the first official output of Kärtsys coming album in Finnish radios YleX, Radio Rock and FM Metro! Stay tuned, check that out!

Pls do check out Kärtsys latest writings in his blog. From this on his idea will be to write there monthly, if his schedules will just allow that.

Some live dates in Europe have already been agreed for Kärtsy and his solo band in January 2010. The dates confirmed so far are: Jan.12th-Aachen(Ger), Jan.13th- Prague(Czech Rep.), Jan.14th-Hamburg(Ger). The shows are a kind of "warming up" before the official album release and the real tour in spring.

So more dates will follow..:)

ATTN. Kärtsy will appear on FIN tv in one of the most famous karaoke competition program called TARTU MIKKIIN in October 30th. Check it out..and have a good laugh:)

Also in next March Kärtsy will appear in another famous Finnish documentary program called LUOKKAKUVA. Further details will follow later.

Kärtsy is busy preparing his first official solo album for IVK Music Finland.

The album will include also some Finnish guest artists. The guests will be announced later. The album releasing will happen sometime during spring 2010.
